Turkey-Central American Integration System (SICA) II. Foreign Ministers Forum was held on 20 April 2017, in Istanbul. The meeting was attended by Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Belize, Nicaragua and Panama.
SICA was founded in 1991 to increase cooperation for regional peace, political freedom, democracy and economic development among the member states. Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, Belize and the Dominican Republic make up its eight full members, while it also has 10-extra-regional observes, including Italy, Spain, Mexica, Japan and Germany.

The new President of ACONBRAS, Hon. Luiz Fernando Del Valle, was congratulated by FICAC President, Arnold Foote, at a very successful meeting in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 16th April, 2015. Also present in the photograph are Past President of ACONBRAS, Hon. George Antoine, FICAC Secretary General, Hon. Aykut Eken, FICAC Directors, Hon. Costas Lefkaritis, Hon. Sylvain Cohen and Hon. Thomas Amaral Neves, along with Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Sao Paulo, Hon. Geomar Garcia and others. The President of ACONBRAS, Hon. Luiz Fernando Del Valle, pledged his Consular Corps’ full support for the World Federation of Consuls and looks forward to working even closer with the Federation.
