At the National Palace, H.E. Danilo Medina Sanchez, President of the Dominican Republic, was awarded with the FICAC Gold Star, the highest FICAC Honour in recognition of the excellent work of world leaders and awarded to heads of States/Governments.

A gala dinner was organized with Members of the Consular Corps accredit ed in Dominican Republic at the residence of Hon. Mrs. Sonia Villanueva de Brouwer, Dean and Honorary Consul of Monaco.
In its over 32 years of existence, FICAC has grown in strength and influence as an effective international body promoting the office of Honorary Consuls and Consuls worldwide and engendering a better understanding of their duties and responsibilities, as well as their rights and privileges.
