On 24th of January, 2018 the Consular Corps of Turkey organized a Board & Regional Meeting in Istanbul, Turkey. Honorary Consuls of Istanbul welcomed the Board Members of the Consular Corps of Turkey.
Hon. Aykut Eken attended to the meeting as President of the World Federation of Consuls and Honorary Consul General of Jamaica in Istanbul and at this occasion, Hon. Aykut Eken had a chance to share FICAC activities and FICAC’s aims and goals to the Honourable Members of the Consular Corps of Turkey.
At the meeting held at the House of Lords on the kind invitation of Lord Lingfield, The Hon. Arnold Foote, President of the World Federation of Consuls discussed in detail the work of the Federation. Also present was Mr. Guy Horridge, Chief Executive Officer of CVQO and at that meeting Lord Lingfield congratulated the World Federation of Consuls on the excellent work being done internationally and honoured FICAC by offering to host a directors meeting of FICAC at the House of Lords.
