The Consular Chronicles – Vol. 2, commemorates the celebration of the 68th Republic Day of India.
The issue covers information on the World Federation of Consuls – FICAC; a global network of Consular Associations created to support and improve the status, legitimacy and effectiveness of consular officers in all receiving States along with stories from the various Honorary Consuls from around the country.
The country in focus for this edition is the Union of the Comoros, a small country in the South West Indian ocean with Madagascar on one side, and East African States like Tanzania, Mozambique on the other. The volume also includes a special feature about the endangered Gorillas in the forests of Rwanda.

At the meeting held at the House of Lords on the kind invitation of Lord Lingfield, The Hon. Arnold Foote, President of the World Federation of Consuls discussed in detail the work of the Federation. Also present was Mr. Guy Horridge, Chief Executive Officer of CVQO and at that meeting Lord Lingfield congratulated the World Federation of Consuls on the excellent work being done internationally and honoured FICAC by offering to host a directors meeting of FICAC at the House of Lords.
