Dear Friends,
It is a great pleasure for me to extend a special welcome to all of you who will attend the 1O~ World Congress of Consuls being held in the Principality of Monaco this coming November during the 3Oth FICAC anniversary’s year.
Since 1982, I commend the tireless efforts done by the World Federation of Consuls to share experiences and coordinate the work to enhance the status and effectiveness of Consuls and to bring together consular associations and corps from ail around the globe.
Those actions are of outmost importance in an increasingly globalized world in order to promote and strengthen ties and improve exchanges between countries through reliable networks.
As a small territory my country is fully aware of the prominence of the need to maintain strong and long lasting relationships with many other states that you represent and fully support every events in this aim.
I do thank the organizers and express my gratitude to the “Association des Consuls Honoraires de Monaco (ACHM)” for their commitment and valuable support in the preparation of this event that will undoubtedly meet your expectations.
The new President of ACONBRAS, Hon. Luiz Fernando Del Valle, was congratulated by FICAC President, Arnold Foote, at a very successful meeting in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 16th April, 2015. Also present in the photograph are Past President of ACONBRAS, Hon. George Antoine, FICAC Secretary General, Hon. Aykut Eken, FICAC Directors, Hon. Costas Lefkaritis, Hon. Sylvain Cohen and Hon. Thomas Amaral Neves, along with Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Sao Paulo, Hon. Geomar Garcia and others. The President of ACONBRAS, Hon. Luiz Fernando Del Valle, pledged his Consular Corps’ full support for the World Federation of Consuls and looks forward to working even closer with the Federation.
