Welcome to 9th World Congress of FICAC, International Federation of Consular Association.
In the congress held in Kingston three years ago, we had dreamed to host this estimable community in our country… It make us happy and bring honor to us to see our dream came true and to conduce to such an important meeting in Izmir and honored to us.
I owe everyone who accepted this important meeting a debt of gratitude for and on behalf of both International Federation of Consular Association and as a member of Consulars Association of Turkey.
Our Estimable Guests…
Day by day, our country was witnessed to crowded and important committees who came from abroad… We did the honours to important international conference that 13 foreigner ministers participated in till one week. Today,80 countries are represented here fully… Today, there is an almost image of the United Nations here. Diplomacy envoys, economic envoys, culture envoys of 80 countries leagued together in our country for more welfare world.
How do we live more welfare and a happy life… How do we consolidate our cooperation for world’s economical and social peace? How do we remove income disparity, the wars, terror that was deployed our world, how do we develop together and sustainable by paying respect to each others rights?
And as we consular agents what can we do within this period? What must we do?
Absolutely we can do great deals… We have different jobs, we are businessmen from different sectors, we visit countries again and again for business. There are friendship relations from every level in these countries that was created with a year’s of experience. We present and bring our connections, relations, references, credits into use of international diplomacy. And for this reason, we do not claim anything. Because as we know, we need to know; each of us can progress as much as community we lived, we can become in easy circumstances as much as welfare level in the world, we all are habitants of global village and today, any event that occurred in Albania effects Zambia tomorrow… Any event occurred in Kirghizistan effects Mexico… That is to say, the era that we closed our doors and to live is over…
Today, representatives of 80 countries already came together by passing all distances… We all are here for one aim. “Cooperation for Economic Welfare and Social Welfare”… We determined the concept of this congress in this way. A estimable great many spokesmen that you will listen in soon are here in order to contribute to this aim.
As we FICAC adopted the slogan of “to work mostly for better service to you” in order to achieve the aim. Today and tomorrow we will perform the necessary of this slogan.
Today, we are together with our estimable guest, we will constitute a vision together “for better service” if tomorrow we as consular agents will work mostly under the light of this vision”…
As we Consular agents, how do we contribute further to the world peace, international friendship relations. For this, what is our duties, responsibilities, rights, we will discuss in detail. We will determine our requests for a comfortable world and present it to senior organization the United Nations…
Estimable attendants, today you will have the opportunity to listen in a good number of estimable spokesmen who came from all corners of the earth.
For this reason, I conclude my speech here, I would like to mention again my pride and happiness because of I contributed in this meeting.
