The Minister said, “Thank you for the distinction bestowed upon us by choosing our country for this meeting and welcome you to this five centuries old city of Santo Domingo.” The Minister praised the Federation for its work; “I congratulate you for the spirit of active collaboration that has characterized this Federation and for the success that has crowned the endeavour to enhance the condition of Consuls and to unite the efforts of the Consular organizations that make up FICAC.” The Minister expressed his delight at being presented with the FICAC Award of Distinction and thanked the Federation.Hon.
